Business Office Administration
The Business Office Administration (BOA) program provides the education and training to succeed in a wide variety of different business settings. Learn core fundamental skills employers look for in administrative professionals, including basic accounting principles, business communications, word processing, spreadsheets and other office support skills and much more.
Dental Assistant
Learn the skills you need to work as a Dental Assistant. This hands-on training program will teach you chairside assisting, x-ray and dental imaging, coronal polishing, patient scheduling, record processing, insurance billing and more.
Medical Assistant
Get the essential education and hands-on training you need to work alongside doctors, registered nurses and other health care professionals in a doctor's office, medical clinic, hospital, HMO, rehabilitation center or other health care facility.
Medical Insurance Biller & Coder
This program focuses on teaching the fundamental knowledge and skills you need to work with patient and health care records. The program covers front office procedures, medical terminology and basic human anatomy, how to submit medical claims, insurance reimbursement, managed care procedures, computer billing applications and computer medical coding.
Pharmacy Technician
This hands-on training program teaches students the skills they need to begin working as a Pharmacy Technician. During the program, students learn how to process patient prescriptions, transcribing physician’s orders, calculating doses, using drug distribution systems, preparing IVs, packaging medications, filling patient cassettes, proper labeling and more.
Surgical Technology
The Surgical Technologist program is a career-focused program that teaches technical skills and provides the hands-on training experience required to begin working with surgeons, anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, registered nurses and other surgical personnel as a member of a surgical team. Graduates of this program earn their Associate of Occupational Science (AOS) degree and are qualified to work in hospitals, delivery rooms, ambulatory/out-patient surgery centers and medical clinics providing surgical services.
